Halifax Celtic Festival, June 22-25, 2022

May 28, 2022, 6:30pm and 7:30pm: End-of-term recitals for flute students, in conjunction with Conservatory Nova Scotia Association, at Calvin Presbyterian Church, Halifax.

May 31, 2022, 7:30pm: Soloist on modern flute in Mozart’s Concerto in D major for flute, 1st movement, for the Halifax Regional Arts Symphony Orchestra at Bethany United Church.

June 19, evening, 7pm: Orchestra member on traverso for “Te Deum” choral and organ concert, St. George’s Round Church, Garth MacPhee director (see poster).

June 25, 2022: Performance with Papilio at the Halifax Celtic Festival. Also, I was the co-ordinator of the “Spirit of Our Youth” concert on June 22, at which our Trad Ensemble from the Halifax Institute of Traditional and Early Music also performed.

Aug. 5, 2022: Performing with Anthony Rissesco and Dave MacIsaac for delegations from the ICF Sprint Canoe World Championships, Halifax.

Aug. 11, 2022, 7pm: Playing for the Scaip na Cleiti dancers at the bandstand at Sullivan’s Pond, Dartmouth.

Sept. 2022: Flute lessons and HITEM programming restart. New this fall: Adult Flute Ensemble at the Maritime Conservatory.

Sept. 24, 7:00pm: Papilio plays for Halifax Contra Dances on the Halifax Waterfront Tall Ships Quay.

Oct. 18, 7:00pm: Papilio plays for the Shelburne Chamber of Commerce on behalf of Windward Flutes in at the Osprey Performing Arts Centre in Shelburne, NS

Dec. 3, 7:30pm: Papilio plays for Halifax Contra Dances at All Nations Church, 2535 Robie St., Halifax

Dec. 16, 7:30pm: Flute student recital at St. George’s Round Church, accompanied by Tara Scott on piano and harpsichord and myself on piano and flute.
