Feb. 1, 2020, 2:30pm: Papilio plays a 50-min. set with guest guitarist Skip Holmes at the Halifax Celtic Festival at the Halifax Forum Multi-Purpose Room. Article in the Chronicle Herald here.

Mar. 1, 2020, 3:00pm: Concert “Magnificat in the Round”. Playing in orchestra for J.S. Bach’s Magnificat with the St. George’s Choir, plus a set of traditional Swedish tunes on Irish flute in a new trio, Harpaflöjt, with Kirsty Money, nyckelharpa, and Ellen Gibling, harp. St. George’s Round Church, Halifax.

Sat. April 4, 2020, 4:00pm: Playing Baroque flute in orchestra in J.S. Bach’s St. John Passion with the King’s Chapel Choir, directed by Paul Halley, St. John’s Anglican Church, Lunenburg NS. *Cancelled due to Covid-19.

June 2020: Grateful to have been awarded the Bee Huxtable Professional Development Fellowship administered by the MCPA Association. Funds from this grant go towards online Baroque flute instruction with Rachel Brown and Claire Guimond, June-August 2020.

August 2020: Proud to announce the release of Part 1 of my Halifax Institute of Traditional and Early Music’s Covid-Art recording project: a mosaic video of “Follow the Heron Home” by Karine Polwart on our YouTube channel.

Sept. 14, 2020: The start of the fall term for my flute studio and the Halifax Institute of Traditional and Early Music.

Sept. 29, 2020: Official appointment as instructor for course IRST 2350 Irish Musical Tradition at Saint Mary’s University, Halifax NS, Jan. through April 2021.
