Join us on a creative journey exploring the roots music of cultures all over, from Ireland, Scotland, the Maritimes, Quebec, France, Spain, Scandinavia and the Balkans, plus folk songs and original tunes. We have played at the Celtic Colours International Festival, Halifax Celtic Festival, Musique Royale concert series, Stan Rogers Folk Festival, East Coast Music Awards, Nova Scotia Music Week, and other events and venues. Our second album, Sociable Butterflies, is available from our website and Spotify. Our debut album, First Flight, was nominated for a Music Nova Scotia Award and also  for a 2014 East Coast Music Award for Traditional Instrumental Recording of the Year. We are the house band for Halifax Contra Dances and play regularly for ceilis, ceilidhs, and more.

Papilio's second album, "Sociable Butterflies", is now available.
